Cooking Tool Guide
Check the uses and selection criteria of cooking tools, safe usage habits, and management points.
Choose how to cook before choosing what to buy
The same vegetables need different tools for a browned surface and a soft finish in broth. Decide on the result first, then check whether your existing cookware can create those conditions.
For a browned surface
Choose a pan that lets ingredients touch the base without overlapping. Usable cooking area matters more than depth. If your pan is small, cook in batches and combine them at the end.
Skillet or wok: cook while allowing moisture to escape →For cooking in broth
Leave enough space in the pot to stir after adding food and liquid. For longer cooking, consider the lid and how the base distributes heat. A larger pot does not make every task easier.
Pot: boiling, simmering and reducing →When swapping equipment
Do not copy oven settings directly to an air fryer. Consider food thickness, batch size and space for airflow. Follow the appliance instructions for preheating, suitable containers and cleaning.
